STORY & IMPACT
VSC had been investing in their niche for years and had the record to show for it. What they didn't have was a way for anyone outside their own network to know that. The podcast existed, but it was a list, not a room: 500 subscribers, guests drawn from people they already knew, invisible to the founders and co-investors they were actually built to reach.
The distance between what they'd proven and what the market saw is where we came in. Not a rebrand. The record was fine. The legibility wasn't.
Of the three instruments a firm can run — media, partnerships, products — media was already half-built here. That mattered more than novelty: a show that exists is a foundation, and the question was never what to launch but what to make of the thing they already had. We rebuilt it around guest tier, because the guest list is what tells a listener whose room they're in. Everything else followed from that decision: the booking pipeline, the identity, the way each episode travelled.
It went from 500 subscribers to 3,000, and the guest tier changed entirely. Deal announcements started following the episodes.
01 BRAND IDENTITY & NARRATIVE SETUP
The first job was making the show look like the tier it wanted to book. A guest decides in about four seconds whether a podcast is worth their afternoon, and almost none of that decision is about audio.

03 distribution assets & applications
An episode is not the product. The product is what the episode leaves behind: a clip that travels, a room that fills, a name a founder recognises the next time it appears in their inbox.

04 LP RELATIONSHIP PARTNERSHIP
An episode is not the product. The product is what the episode leaves behind: a clip that travels, a room that fills, a name a founder recognises the next time it appears in their inbox.
Our engagement therefore focused on closing that perception gap through a tightly integrated system: strategy and narrative positioning, a refined visual identity, LP communications infrastructure, and a distribution partnership designed to carry the story consistently across decks, events, media, and digital channels. The work gives them a platform that finally matches the precision and intentionality of how they actually invest.

Finding a mentor is more than just asking someone to mentor you, it's about how you approach mentorship. In this video, I share tips that will help you approach mentorship the right way.
