STORY & IMPACT
Embracing Emergence is a closed, invite-only community connecting emerging fund managers with the limited partners who back them. It was never meant to be a public platform, and it still isn't.
Benedict came to us with a problem a lot of closed communities eventually run into: the network itself, its LPs and GPs, whose combined capital runs into the billions, was worth far more than its public-facing presence let on. That gap made it hard to secure partnerships and sponsorships that matched what the community was actually worth.
The Impact
We helped Benedict give Embracing Emergence's public-facing assets the same weight as the network behind them, without ever opening the community itself to the public.
Partners and sponsors have since praised the work publicly, which gave Benedict the confidence to negotiate better terms and pursue more sponsorship conversations. Embracing Emergence has secured more sponsors for its newsletter, and Benedict went on to close a consultancy engagement with a16z. We don't take credit for that deal on its own, but it's part of the same story: once the community's actual value was visible, better conversations followed.
SERVICES RENDERED
Every partnership conversation started with whatever a sponsor had already seen of Embracing Emergence. The brand had to make some of that case on its own, so they arrive to negotiate on terms that matched the value of the network.
02 CORE BRAND KIT

03 distribution assets & applications
The newsletter was already reaching the right people. It needed to look like something a sponsor would want their name next to, not just another update landing in an inbox.

04 MEMBERS/PARTNERS RELATIONSHIP PARTNERSHIP
Everyone already inside Embracing Emergence knew what the community was worth. The job was making sure a sponsor or partner outside it could see that just as clearly, without asking anyone inside to step into the open.
Members needed a direct line to Benedict, not just to each other. LPs and GPs who had been part of Embracing Emergence for a while had no consistent way to hear from him beyond an occasional message when something came up, so we built the system he now uses to keep members actually informed and connected to what transpires internally.

A sponsor & member would do their own research before they hop on a call, and the website was where most of it happened. It had to make the case for what the network was worth clearly enough that the conversation could start on stronger footing while maintaining subtlety.
